Over due update

Well another football season is about to be sprung upon us. Starting this Sunday the 15th of April! The club and committee have worked very hard to continue to move the club forward both on and off the field. There have been some be changes happen at the club so far this year with the resignation of our senior coach Olu Deyeolu due to personal commitments. We wish Olu all the best and look forward to seeing his ever smiling face and hearing his friendly banter around the club.

As most of you would now know Blue lake stalwart Lewis Ferguson has been appointed as the new senior coach. Lewis has been able to bring years of experience to the role and has also brought club favourites Rajko Kuzmanovic and Dante Pepe into the coaching staff to give the Rangers an extra edge in this years competiton.

Dante has been working the seniors hard with pre season and Rajko's knowledge of the techincal side of the game will put a fresh spin on things in the way the Rangers move the ball into the back of the net.

There have been a few rumours flying around about the club and its future. The committee want you all to know that we are here to stay! In times of hardship (whatever the hardship maybe) foundations become stronger, interests become reinviguorated and we band together tigher than before.

Our club will stand stronger than ever, this is evident by new senior signings of fantastic talent, and the rejuvination of the under 17's and the creation of the under 10's.

This year will be another year of building and growth for the Rangers and we WILL move from strength to strength. So lets all get around the club, players young and old and the families and make 2012 the year of the RANGER!

Blue Lake under 10's

We would like to anounce that the first training seesion for the Blue Lake under 10's will start this coming Friday the 23rd of March.

We ask that the parents and children are there by 5:30pm for a run down by the coaches before a 5:45pm start time for training. The coaches Joe Dunning and Micahel Lamb will explain what their plans are for the up coming season. Registration forms will be available on the night.

All children that are looking at participating need to be wearing shin pads, boots are suggested but aren't essential.

The Blue Lake Rangers would like to annouce that the senior coach of the Rangers Olu Deyaolu has had to resign from the head coaches position. We would like to wish Olu all the best in the future.

In the interim Lewis Ferguson has taken the helm and has called a players meeting for this coming Tuesday night 6pm at the clubrooms. Lew has asked that ALL players attend and if you aren't able to come along please let him know by calling or texting on 0439819066.

Rego day the 5th of Feb!

Just a call out TO EVERYONE, that next SUNDAY the 5th of February will be our rego day!!! We will be holding it at Malseed park and it will run from 11am till 4pm. Now its not just rego day, we also have the finals for our 7 a side, Blue Lake Freinds and family game, and an exhibition game, so please come along.

We will have a sausage sizzle on the day and of course drinks will be available too.

It's official Repco auto parts are now a major sponsor of our great club!

Kim Tucker who is the father of young Nathaniel Tucker (under 14's goal keeper from last year) has been kind enough sponsor our junior teams for the next 3 years. In doing so Kim and Repco will help further develop the youth of our club and help us continue to grow.

Pre season training now on!

Calling ALL senior players!!!!

It's now offical Blue Lake Rangers are back at training for the 2012 season! The senior coach Olu Deyaolu has his sights on improvements on last years season and has already attracted some new enthusiastic players who are keen to help push the Rangers to the next level.

If you are interested in playing, training is set for Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6:30pm.

Socceroo supports Blue Lake Rangers in 2012

BIG NEWS!!!!

We have been lucky enough to be given a signed match ball from Socceroo Mark Milligan.

Mark (who has S.E. connections) was kind enough to donate this to the Blue Lake Rangers Soccer Club. This ball will be raffled off throughout this year.

Mark has played for the Northern Spirit (the old NSL) Sydney F.C. (next to the great Dwight York) Newcastle Jets, Shanghi Shenhau, and his current team JEF United Chiba!

Mark has also represented his country 15 times and will be on the fringe of selection again for the next lot of qualifiers and friendlies.

Under 17's traing will start on the 18th of Jan (Wednesday) at 5:30pm. For anyone in the age bracket of 13-16 male or female, please feel free to come along! MAKE SURE you bring boots, shin pads, a comfortable pair of running shoes and water!

Under 17's team meeting/training

BIG News! Lew Ferguson has called a team meeting/training session on the 28th of December 5pm at Malseed park (BLSC's home ground).

If there is anyone in the age bracket of 13-16 or 17 after the first of January please contact Lewis on 0439819066. Lewis has already made contact with the names of the players that he has on his list and if any of these players are unable to make the meeting/training sesh please call Lewis or text him on the same number.
